ExxonMobil Pipeline Company Hosts Emerging Fuels Seminar

Exxon Mobil Pipeline and Low Carbon Solutions hosted the Emerging Fuels Seminar yesterday at the ExxonMobil Houston Campus with participation from the University of Houston, Rice University, the American Petroleum Institute (API), the Liquid Energy Pipelines Association (LEPA) and other industry partners. The objective of the seminar was to raise awareness on emerging fuels and assess communication tactics to support the anticipated buildout of pipelines acquired by the transition to low carbon energy and kick-off development of a public education program to brief and build support with local officials, community leaders and the public along expected pipeline routes. The virtual and in-person seminar included a special visit to campus by Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo who expressed her strong support for CCUS and committed to working with industry and ExxonMobil to engage with key stakeholders and communities across the region during the energy transition.
