ExxonMobil Pipeline Company sponsors its first 2024 TEEX emergency responder training
February 24-25 was the 15th session of the ExxonMobil-sponsored HazMat Liquid & CO2 Pipeline Emergency Response training at TEEX. Nearly 20 volunteer municipal departments from MS, LA, and TX participated in this two-day training to further advance hazardous liquids and CO2 pipeline emergency response preparedness and to share learnings between industry and first responders.
During the February course the Director of the Yazoo County (MS) Emergency Management Agency, Jack Willingham, shared his first-hand knowledge and experience to help enhance pipeline safety.
Since 2018, more than 680 volunteer and municipal firefighters have participated in the ExxonMobil-sponsored ER training at TEEX. The training is offered at no cost to volunteer and municipal fire departments across the Gulf Coast region near ExxonMobil and Denbury pipeline assets.
